The 2009 Cricket Elective Session was the first of its kind here at University High School.  The major players were sohpomores James Keener, captain of Australia, and Philip Dodd, captain of New Zealand.  James led his team to a 7 and 3 record, clinching the first cricket elective title.  James went on to be inducted into the UHS cricket club wall of fame a year in 2012, a year after he graduated.  Phil Dodd led the students in the 2009 elective in batting with a 16.33 RPO, 11 fours, and 4 sixes.
